Children's 3 week Christmas Sewing Club ages 8 to 15 years December

Do you have a crafty child that is eager to learn the love of sewing? A skill they will use in life.
Then this is the perfect class for them. We welcome boys and girls ages 8 years to 15 years to come and learn to sew in a safe, fun and creative environment. We will encourage your child to express themselves, get creative and use their imagination to create a mixture of sewing projects over the course of the weeks. The class is run by Lianne owner of Koala Kreations.  

What will they learn?

• Basic hand stitching and sewing techniques
• How to use a sewing machine
• How to cut a pattern

What’s Included?

• All fabrics and materials will be supplied
• Break time - Squash, juice, water and biscuits
• The use of a sewing machine

What will they make?

Your child will make a variety of projects depending on their age and ability within the 4 weeks. Ideas like tote bags, pencil cases, cards and cushions. At times we will customize the classes to seasonal makes for Christmas! Your child may also come up with their own ideas which we are happy to accommodate individually.
